Monetizing a website is our second goal next to a great content.  If you study some article on other website like forum, one may suggest that you need to write a lot of content first before monetizing your website, while others may suggest you to start right away on your first article.  Both ways will work, except I prefer to start away with my first article.  The benefit of this is you can tweak your ads to find the best location.

You can also experiment with so many advertising networks which will be discussed on the next topic.  If you start monetizing your website and you have a lot of articles and most probably visitors, you cannot change the appearance of your website most often to avoid confusion from your readers.
