Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising Networks

Pay per click is the easiest way to monetize your blog. You will be approved with just a few articles in your website. Unlike other method, they look at your Alexa ranking, Google page rank and other medium before you can join in their program.

Google Adsense

At the moment, I will not disagree with many who said that Google Adsense is the number one and leading provider in pay per click advertising networks.  In fact, at the time of this writing, Adsense is my number one source of income.  It can be easily incorporated into your website with the help of plugin for Wordpress.

But I am open to possibilities that the number one income source of my website will eventually change.  As your website become mature you will amaze on how other methods of monetizing your website will overtake Adsense income. I am thinking about Sponsored Reviews and Affiliate Marketing.

Chitika

Chitika is a close rival of Google Adsense. I tried chitika before when my website traffic was so small and I found it very interesting. It works great like Google Adsense and there’s a feature which cannot be found in Adsense. This is called eMiniMall. It contains pictures of a product that will catch the attention of your visitors. It allows your visitors to browse products without leaving your site.

Chitika has also a referral program which you can join for free. You earn $25.00 for every $100.00 in ad spent!

Kontera

Kontera is another source of income that I used before. But due to the competition with Adsense in my page content I decided to remove it so it won’t compete with my Adsense income. The reason for this is Adsense is still the best of all the PPC Ads. The reason I insert it sometimes to my website is that I saw an increase of my Adsense income if I leave this ads in one to two days.

I also heard from other forums that they experience the same. That’s why experimentation is sometimes necessary to compare your current income from your previous income.

Infolinks

I also tried infolinks and it worked better than kontera. My income doubled when I change Kontera with Infolinks. May be this is because infolinks loads faster in any browser compare to kontera.

Again, see it for yourself which one is working well. Trying different Ad Network will surely help you boost your income.  Another player is Yahoo! Publisher Network (YPN), bidvertiser, and Clicksor.

Conclusion

Trying various PPC is a must to hit the target. Do not be satisfied with other bloggers’ opinions, including me, if we say that infolinks works better than kontera. Try it for yourself.  Sometimes things work differently on different niche.  May be I’m just lucky with Adsense because my visitors are blind to Google Ads.
